Much like prAna's flagship store in Boulder, Colorado, the Portland center will serve as a town hall for the 21st century. In addition to prAna's complete apparel line for men and women, customers can attend free yoga, health, and wellness classes and purchase accessories and jewelry designed by local artisans.
Ongoing community events will also support prAna's neighborhood presence, with customers being treated to art shows, climbing clinics, and slide shows.
"The p fashion jackets online eople of Portland have connected to prAna's values since we started - it's all about community and people here are passionate. They love underdogs, are totally hip and appreciate style with function. We are really looking forward connecting deeper with our peops in Portland," says Beaver Theodosakis, Founder of Prana.
The store's official grand opening party will take place on Friday, November 18th, followed by a climbing competition on Saturday, November 19th.
Well known and well worn around the world, prAna's styles are sought after for their authentic appeal as well as for their top quality and performance.
With a colorful history spanning more than 18 years, prAna's success is due much in part to their creative partnership with climbers like Chris Sharma, and inspiration from yoginis such as Shiva Rea. Additionally, prAna actively seeks out their customers' input, keeping their styles fresh and relevant.

About prAna:
prAna, an ancient Sanskrit word for breath, life and vitality of the spirit has helped guide our actions and lift our aspirations since day one. We started out 18 years ago making clothing that worked well for climbing and yoga. It turned out our products worked well for many other passions too. Today we continue designing performance wear with "purpose" as we scour the world for inspiration.
